HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I can’t believe that the day is actually here, and I am so excited to share with you all my new lifestyle + design blog, Common Canopy! It’s been a dream of mine for quite some time to launch this site, so needless to say I’m a pretty happy girl today!
If you’re not quite sure what a “lifestyle + design blog” is, I’ll give you a short summary and explain why I’m so excited about it. Essentially, I’ll be posting content very often (at this point, 6 days a week!) for you that I’ve curated based upon everyday activities, personal interests, and your needs! So, since I’m a designer and absolutely love making things look amazing, this means that a lot of my posts and content will focus on that. This drifts over into lots of other topics: food, travel, life, and more!
The great thing about a blog is that it can be a really tight-knit space for people with similar passions, and that’s what I’m sincerely hoping for. Since I’ll be sharing more than just “tips and tricks” but also my own personal creations and commentary on life (the ups, downs, and everything in-between), I fervently hope to find some fun, honest, and passionate people to enjoy the ride with me. If that sounds appealing to you, then please don’t hesitate to engage with me or anyone else here! Post in the comments, sign up for the e-mail list, email me directly your thoughts and opinions [firstname.lastname@example.org], follow on other social media platforms! The more active the community, the better this blog will be for everyone. I’ll be sharing a lot, and I fully hope for those who consistently keep up with this space to share about themselves, too!
Free Prints + Desktop Wallpapers!
And now for the fun part! As part of Common Canopy’s launch, I wanted to give you all some free prints and desktop wallpapers to inspire your New Year! For the prints, just download the ones you like via the link (it’s PDF and better quality), print it, and hang them up as you see fit. I’d recommend printing them via a professional printer rather than the one at your house, but it’s up to you. Frame them, tack them to the wall, whatever! And the desktop wallpapers are fun, too – I created a January calendar wallpaper and some with common New Year’s resolutions on them. That way, you can keep your resolution in front of you every day to help you remember your goal.
If you use them, post or email me a picture! I’d love to see your creativity with them.
